Wonderful Armenia: Dicotyledones

The Global Botanical Portal’s statistic has shown enough big interest to our first post about amazing Armenian plants. So, it is pleasant to continue demonstrating some beautiful plants from the wonderful country10255275_658144820899218_9191319763979600634_n

I would like to remind that I have been in Armenia in the beginning of May, and I was able to visit different ecosystems: deciduous forests, rock outcrops, subalpine meadows, dry grasslands, lake (Sevan), springs and urban areas. Altitude of my field excursions varied from 900 till 2800 metres.

As you would already understand, plant diversity is so so rich in Armenia. It is a biodiversity hotspot in the World. So, it is better to stop talking and start showing some nice flowers. Enjoy! 🙂
