Waiting for a miracle

Today the Global Botanical Portal talks about the beautiful 🙂 What could be better of visiting of the wonderful place with many flowering plants while it is raining and snowing with frost and wind? Of course, nothing! 🙂 Unfortunately, not everyone is lucky enough to have such pleasure. But residents and guests of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, have this amazing opportunity every year, especially in February when Azalia collection in M.M.Gryshko National Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine starts blooming.

It is festival of colors and impressions! Every winter people wait for the event, for the miracle. They ask each others right after New Year Holidays: “Have you been in botanical garden on Pechersk (name of a local area where is located the botanical garden) in this year? Have Azalias started blooming?” It is a tipical winter question between people in Kyiv while conversations in urban transport or during lunch break 🙂 So, I advise you to visit the place or at least enjoy my pictures of the collection.

You can find more information about the collection here . But it is in only Ukrainian 😦
